SAMIR AICHSamir Aich known for the frenetic energy sculpting his usage of the abstract idiom, in this collection leashes it within the quietude of the figurative. And yet the supine form with its emphasis on mammaries, is strikingly reminiscent of his unconventional style. Graduated from Govt. College of Art & Craft Kolkata in 1978. He has been painting for almost three decades now. Exhibitions: Solo shows in New Delhi 1981, Kolkata : 1981, 83, 84, 86, 87, 88, 89, 90, 93 , 94, 99, 2000; Mumbai - 1985, 87 and in several other cities of India.
